Izaak Fairclough

Studied for Undergrad and Master’s in Cambridge, and now working towards a PhD in London. Research area is Number Theory, especially algebraic and geometric aspects of the Langlands programme. Enjoys playing badminton and running, and a keen cook too! Unfortunately cannot play tennis, but loves to watch it whenever the chance arises.

Milly Mi

Currently spending her time organising, teaching, and travelling during her gap year after dabbling in maths, physics, programming, and astronomy during high school. Loves seeking out new experiences, and enjoys general aviation, downhill skiing and visiting friends in her free time. Please tell her about something you find cool!

Gabriel Corrigan

Completed Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in maths at Cambridge and Warwick respectively, and now studying for a PhD at the University of Glasgow, working in geometric group theory and low-dimensional topology. Enjoys playing tennis and running and frankly will get invested in any sport after watching it for 15 minutes. Also loves classical music and playing the piano.

Alyona Nefyodova

Currently getting a PhD in Analytics from the University of Notre Dame in the US, after graduating with a BS in Math from Higher School of Economics, Moscow, Russia. Her favorite field of math is knot theory. Outside of academics, she is a figure skater, competing in both individual and synchronised skating as a part of the university team.

Sage Stanish

Completed a Bachelor degree at the College of William & Mary and now working on a PhD in Applied Mathematics at the University of Glasgow. Sage studies astrophysical fluids and space weather in the solar system. Outside of academics, he enjoys games of all varieties; Basketball, Squash, Pathfinder, D&D, cards, etc. If there is something to be played, he will be there!
