Visegrad Fund

The International Visegrad Fund is an international organization based in Bratislava founded by the governments of the Visegrad Group (V4) countries—the Czech Republic, Hungary, the Republic of Poland, and the Slovak Republic. The purpose of the fund is to facilitate and promote the development of closer cooperation among citizens and institutions in the region as well as between the V4 region and other countries, especially in the Western Balkan and Eastern Partnership regions. The fund operates several grant programs, and also awards individual scholarships, fellowships and artist residencies. Grant support is given to original projects namely in the areas of culture, science and research, youth exchanges, cross-border cooperation and tourism promotion, as well as in other priority areas defined in calls for proposals published on the fund’s website.

Jane Street

Jane Street is a quantitative trading firm active on more than 200 trading venues across 45 countries. As a liquidity provider and market maker, they help form the backbone of global markets. Their approach is rooted in technology and rigorous quantitative analysis, but their success is driven by their people.

With offices in London, New York, Hong Kong, Amsterdam and Singapore, they come from many backgrounds and encourage travel between their larger and smaller offices to share perspectives. Some of their best ideas come from bumping into a visiting colleague at the office coffee bar.

They have internship and insight opportunities available for students at all stages in their University journey. They have opportunities available in Quantitative Trading, Software Engineering, Quantitative Research and other areas. These paid internships run for 10-12 weeks over the summer, and are an educational opportunity to solve problems, build systems and test theories.
