MBL & The International Visegrad Fund
The aim of our project Maths Beyond Limits is to gather talented math enthusiasts willing to share their knowledge and passion with each other and to create space for their development by challenging them with interesting and demanding subjects. We focus on helping them make important habits of creative thinking, self-development, ambition and ability to cooperate. Moreover, we try to enhance cooperation and integration of European mathematical societies and ensure equal opportunities in access to non-formal education.
Together with the Polish Children’s Fund, The Joy of Thinking Foundation, Trojsten, Charles University, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, and Association for preservation of multiculture in BiH, we organise mathematical camps called Maths Beyond Limits.
Within this edition of our project supported by the International Visegrad Fund, we are planning to organise three mathematical camps:
- MBL 2022 in Rycerka Dolna, Poland (September 5-18, 2022)
- MBL-Balkans in Bosnia and Hervegovina (March 25-April 3, 2023)
- MBL 2023 in Poland (September 11-24, 2023)
The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
